Who says teens are moody? Why do folks say that teens are difficult?!
We here, at Make Up First ® School, had nothing but good times, teaching the teens, ages 13-17, both beauty and theatrical makeup.
DAY I: Students learned about the importance of skincare, color theory, and how to prep the skin; using Mario Badescu’s Skincare line, Mehron “Primed” Eye Prep, and Cinema Secrets Face Primer, available on our website or in person at our Pro Shop.
DAY II: Gore! Students created broken noses, black eyes, and open wounds with the Mehron Bruise Ring Wheel, Mehron Cream Blend Sticks, and Colorset Powder.
DAY III: Students concentrated on social media techniques, such as Strobing, Contouring, and creating the popular winged eyeliner (without tape!). BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Cream was definitely one of the favorites of the illuminizers.
DAY IV-Time to play with theatrical water-based paints! Getting an early jump on Halloween, the students created sugar skulls! Some of the teen students even added unique crystals and geometric patterns for heightened visual effect.
DAY V: On the last day of Teen Camp, the students learned some of the current runway trends: blue graphic liner, blue eyeshadow, monochromatic accent points and oxblood lips.
So sad to say goodbye…for now!! Looking forward to seeing these teens return to Make Up First ® School for future classes and product purchases!
