WE GAVE BIRTH!
Yes, our recent expansion and renovation was similar to giving birth; a painful process but so rewarding in the end!
We had been in our current space since 2009; it was time for a “facelift” of our existing space. We also needed more space to accommodate our expanding Chicago makeup school<http://makeupfirst.com/makeup-school/>.
We have upgraded our lights, furnishings, changed our logo and overall color scheme, added another teaching area and greatly expanded the size and selection of our products available for sale (Open to the public, either in store, or online, with free shipping through 2016). Shop our products here!
For those of you who were not here either during the process or after, here are some photos of the build out, from start to finish!

The construction debris and chaos began to get more “controlled”, but the “agony” goes on!
Even before completion, we “soldiered on”. ( so dramatic) We hosted a Teen Class as well as a special event with AJ CRIMSON, whose products we now carry. 
By now, our hands-on workstations, our Pro Shop and our reception area were beginning to take shape.
And, just like the end of a long gestation, the project was done!
With our expanded space, we are now able to carry more product lines: Kevyn Aucoin, Mario Badescu, Model Rock, Inglot
Time for an Open House to celebrate!
And, throughout the entire demolition, expansion, and construction, we were still able to conduct our Winter Session 2016! Kudos to our students for putting up with the mess!!
